Inviting The Feminine Gift of Love

When I look into your eyes, I see the love that you are. Your radiant essence illuminates my heart the way the sun illuminates the Earth. The way you flow and feel your way through your day, touching the hearts and hurts of all those around you, grounds me to life itself. Lost in my warrior-mission, I dismiss you, ignore you, or tell you to leave me alone. Deep down I fear that I’m not man enough to fulfill my deepest purpose and open with you into the deep, blissful, two-bodied love. And I want to be free of all fear, especially fear that separates us.

So I ask, my love, that you remain steadfast in your deepest yearnings that we commune heart-to-heart, especially when I’m being a distracted, disinterested jerk. Demand I show up fully in our life. Live as love. It is who you are. Do not withdraw and board the windows of your heart shut. Stay surrendered. Trust love – even when I hurt or disappoint you. For every moment that you live as love, I am called to power.”

The feminine heart is wired for love. You “come from the factory” yearning to experience the flow of love in relationship. While you can lead companies and countries – and you should, our world needs the feminine publicly displayed – at your depth, you still long for love. The masculine, on the other hand, is bent on freedom, whether it is financial, political or spiritual. We often become so single-mindedly driven that we loose sight of everything else, including you. It is not that we do not love you, it’s just that our mission “to go out and slay the dragon” blinds us to the love and beauty that exists in this moment.

But a man of depth and consciousness knows he spends far too much time up in his head – thinking, planning, strategizing – disconnected from love, nature, and his own body. He knows he needs balance – that life is more than the chase. But rarely can he balance himself.

So, ladies, as much as we rant, resist and run, do not stop seducing us. Be the love that you are and ground us in your embrace of life. Use your feminine wiles. Beckon us with your luscious lips; coax us with your beautiful form. And if that doesn’t work, drag us! – kicking and screaming if need be – out of our projects and into life itself, into the only thing that really exists, NOW.
